They have green, blue, blond, red etc hair and eyes. It's unique and it's not what asians are able to have.

Then I envy and feel inferior to them. Am I crazy? I want to stop being envious and stop feeling inferior because it's not what i can change. What should I do?

Also I wonder what white people who have brown hair and brown eyes. Do they envy and feel inferior to blond blue people? How about blond or red and blue people? Do they think they are special and dark hair and eyes people are boring?

Please, I am a blond blue-eyed freckled pasty white girl with absolutely no heritage or history to speak of. I am so homogenated that its easier just to say I am Anglo. Of of my friends are Mexican, and puerto rican and black and have these histories. Hell even my husband is Polish. I'm just white. Plain boring vanilla white. I'm a white girl who spent her whole life wishing she were a Nubian princess with long chunky braids.

I think that maybe the grass is greener for everyone.

Those variations used to serve a purpose before modern technology and global travel came to the rescue.

For instance, people with lighter skin, blond hair, etc. could survive in the cold better, as opposed to darker skin which acts as a natural sunblock. So certain people are better equipped than others to survive certain environments.

If you're envious because you think one group is more attractive than others: if you think your group is more attractive, well, that's just natural (tribe mentality; see one of my earlier posts about racial hatred). If you think another group is more attractive, then that's likely because you see that more where you live (demographics, media, self-hate, etc.)

I'd be more concerned about the survivability (though we tend to be attracted to that which best survives). If global warming happens, then the Great White North could turn into the Mediterranean or Africa...and the darker people will better survive in this brave, hot, new world.

The trend, however, is that there's increasing inter-racial breeding, so all of us will probably look alike in the next century...

I think it's a non-essential feature, it's a variety but not really so to yourself because you would still be the same person, there isn't any variations, a blue-eyed person can't have brown-eyes etc., so the variety is only in the species as a whole and that would make you part of the variety too...

I think if you're healthy and happy in life with the things you are interested in, then that is what matters...

:-). Kinda been there. Interesting to see someone else in the same boat. But then again, I never felt inferior but a teeny weeny bit jealous - like I lacked variety and was just one of a big mold.

But after having been with a lot of white people with different features, I realized that they aren't way too excited about that variety (i have sat with a blonde with cotton color hair with beautiful eyes, have spoken to blue eyes with gray hair and so on) - some like it for the beauty but not the variety.

So, if you look good, you look good. color doesn't matter that much. that should make you feel good I guess. My last girlfriend dated whites before and she liked me (at least that's what she told me) and really didn't miss all that variety.

I am white and I have blue eyes and blonde hair, and I have thought about this...I actually think if I have kids, I would rather either have mixed race or blonde/blue eyed kids. The brown hair/ brown eyed whites are fine, but it does seem plain. At the same time, I think you can view most "races" as having appealing physical traits of some sort, from skin tone to hair texture to noses, etc.

Ironically, as an Anthropology minor, I studied inherited physical traits a little, and it seems that blue eyes may have been a physical mutation that ended up being naturally selected. Anyone with blue eyes will tell you that other than looks, it is a disadvantage due to abnormally high rates of poor vision and trouble coping with high amounts of brightness. So...biologically, your thought that blue eyes are more appealing seems to be true on the whole.

the most important thing here is to love yourself. you are unique and there is no need for you to compare yourself to others. many people have features and traits that they do not like about themselves. however the more you analyze life, you can learn that those traits and features, that you find boring or plain are unique to you and therefore beautiful. the world would be very boring if everyone fit the ideal of beauty, plus societies ideal of beauty continues to change. Do not focus so much on the outside and concentrate on your inner workings and why you feel SO insecure. plus i have to add that many people are attracted to Asians because of their beautiful shaped eyes and porcelain skin. Be proud of who you are and uniqueness.

I am Asian, and I am always happy with my black hair and dark blown eyes. I also feel Asian girls with black hair are very beautiful.

I only envy people whose are more good looking, and the eyes and hair colour doesn't determine whether the person is good looking.

If you have the feeling of inferior over the white, it's not due to the eyes and hair colour, you are just feeling inferior for not being a white.

People tend to envy others at one point in time or another. It's not just ethnicities. People envy others for their material possesions, intelligence, fortune etc. We humans are born with jealousy coded into ourselves. Unless you want to follow Michael Jackson's footsteps, I suggest you look at more of the good features that you have...

Variation and differences are, to some extent, a matter of what you're used to. To whites, "all orientals look alike', because we're not used to the norms and the patterns. The reverse is also true, though to a lesser extent because hair and eye colour are so obvious.

i think everyone is unique whether you have blond hair or not, or whether you have blue eyes or not, or whether you are black white or brown.....just be thankful for what colour are or what you have cause the greatest thing is to be alive....do not be envious cause it could lead to something dangerous....be greatful for who you are........if you are darkskinned you have something that light skinned persons might want, you are able to withstand the sun's rays better....so just be thankful for who you are....enjoy life and be thankful for every day you live to see......no one is inferior to another no matter what he looks like or what he has....all are equal and the same red blood runs through everyone's veins.......God is no respector of person....[i hope this helps]

How can you envy a white persons features when most are caused from some kind of defect. So yes I think you're crazy for down grading your own race. You should be ashamed. Just kidding about the defective part, but every race has it's own uniqueness to it and also its own enviable qualities. Humans are all different from one another so to envy is only to say that your own self-esteem needs to be lifted and you can do that by accepting yourself for who you are and not who you could have been.

wow !!!1 u do need help!!!! my husband is 6.2 feet, hes white blue eyes blone hair. well built. am 5.2 feet dark hair !!!! he thinks am hottest person alive and every day he prays god that our child to come is to look like me !!1 he loves the way i get tanned in sun and he hates the way he turns red like a lobster ( his exact words) in sun!!!his entire family are blondes except for hsi brother and they all think am prettiest one in that family!!! a blone friend told him teasin what did she see in u when we firts got married!!! i think u need help . what u look is what u got from 2 loving parents when u first born some body spent time to tell where u get ur nose where u get ur eyes and whoes lips were these!!! what we look is our identity whats makes us diffrernt and u are here complaining about it and feelin inferior!!1 tahst horribel thing!!! isntead of being greatful to god ur healthy and in one peice like millons wish they were . i truely beleive there is ntoghin wrogn with ur looks i think ur brains is the real problem!
