I have wavy hair that goes curly. I want big, bouncy curls. (Oprah's new hair-do is something I am going for, although me and her have completely different hair types, Im a white girl!) Anyways, I am basically just looking for something that is managible and holds the curl together without getting fly-aways or looking dry. I have a diffuser, just need to know what are some good products.

Be sure to use lots of conditioner; curly hair is often dry and it loves that moisture. It will also help calm the frizzies.
Mousse works for me, or just plain old gel. The best prescription is to do as little as possible, because that helps keep the curl. When you get out of the shower, don't tousle your hair, just gently scrunch it with the towel. Then get a blob of gel, and distribute it gently with your fingers, and use the diffuser but try not to touch your hair too much. It really is amazing how much that can make a difference.
Have you seen the book "Curly Girl" by Lorraine Massey? I like her info better than Ouidad's, in no small part because Ouidad's opinion seems to be that hers is the only way to handle curly hair, and you have to use her products. Ugh. Anyway, "Curly Girl" is a great book with lots of info and tips.

One thing you need to remember is that Oprah and you are totally different people, with totally different backrounds, and above all, totally different hair! You can't make your caucasion hair look like a black woman's hair; but, these products will make wonders to your hair.
