Can you help me control my frizzy hair.?

I am a white female with natural wavy hair- when my hair air drys or I blow dry it it turns to a thick frizz, I then of course have to straighten it and it looks normal, I want to know if there is a relaxer or anything I can put into my hair to make it straight when I blow dry or if I just want to go to the beach and get in the water and let my hair dry and not worry about some fuzzball in the making.

sounds like my hair, too. my beautician applies Rusk Anti Curl to my hair every 4 months... it is a reverse perm... and it works *wonderfully*. It does a wonderful job at relaxing my hair... and also at eliminating the FRIZZ... which was my BIGGEST problem. I absolutely love it. CHI products also work great.... good luck!

Sunsilk hair products are very good for that problem on my hair. They have a bunch of different kinds of sunsilks and I think it really helps. They sell those products at Target and probably somewhere else, but I'm not sure where else.

Redken works!!!! There's two products, one is a leave on conditioner and the other is an anti-frizz smoothing lotion you run through your hair. Both works, I'm a huge fan of redken products. Try it, its great but its inexpensive. Good Luck:)

yes, I am a white female with naturally curly hair. I use the largest round brush you can find when blow drying. Also, use some sort of a shine product. I use Pureology Shinemax. It can be applied before you blow dry or after. I find that using it before I blow dry works best for my curly hair. Then use a ceramic straightening iron. It should be staight and smooth. I also use Pureology shampoo and conditioner.

sounds like my hair!!! i have the same problems. I went to a nice salon last week to get my hair cut and the girl recommended i use CHI, its a oil-type hair product that you put in your hair to control frizz. Unfortunately it cost like 20 bucks, but it will last a while because you only need a little go a long way. you can also put it in when your hair is wet or dry to control frizz. sorry its a little pricey, but its the only thing i've liked so far. good luck.

You have naturally wavy hair huh? Me too, and that's how my hair used to get until I realized if i get my hair wet, scrunch it, and put gel and hairspray in it people think I curled it, and it looks soooooooo pretty, and it's not frizzy at all, or if you don't want to do that, than try herbal essence.

Personally, I use mousse and two hair dryers (making the air streams oppose each other). It keeps my hair looking really nice as mine is near afro-fluff if blown dry or allowed to air dry cleanly. Another thing you can try is to spray your wet hair with either hair spray, spray gel or apply mousse and allow to air dry. Once it is dry, then turn your head upside down and shake out all of the "crispies". My husband likes spraying cyclomethicone on his, but it only provides light control (it is a bath and body ingredient for body sprays and is silicone based).
