i am crapping myself totaly,, im 14,, i die my hair quite alot but mainly wash in wash out colours,, i just dyied my hair blonde but while i was waiting for it to settle for 45 mins,, after 2 mins it started stingin like mad,, i yeled at my mum to wash it out strait away she said my scalp was very red,, wen i looked in the mirror with wet hair my roots where blonde//white,, im proper crapping myself because my mum said its going to fall out.. my bathroom stank of peroxide,, what should i do? will it fall out? if it does what should i do,, will it turn orange? :O i need help im rly upset about this :/ please help me..x

you were probably allergic to the dye, check the back of the dye pack and compare other dyes you have used to see if they have used any different ingredient that you're not used to, and avoid that in futre.

go to the doctors to see if they can give you anything for your scalp, or use one of the soothing type shampoos

It's probably not going to fall out... sounds more like your skin had a bad reaction to the dye. Wash it really well a few times, and maybe wrap a towel around your head until it dries to keep the scalp moist. Next time, try just a little bit of the dye on the underside of your arm for 10-20 minutes before putting it on your hair to make sure your skin isn't bothered by it.

Your hair is not going to fall out...however if you bleach your hair often it will break....Use a good conditioner often...if you want to bleach your hair again..soon rub Vaseline on your scalp before applying. Buy really nice hair products not cheap unknown ones. I have bleached my hair for years and it is lovely....please take it easy for awhile

Usually, you won't loose hair unless you over process your hair by leaving the color on too long. Most of the time your hair will become frizzy and dry when you color it too often and you don't condition it in between. It will also damage the cuticle of your hair so that it won't hold in the color as long and will fade faster. You really need to keep it conditioned.

i do not know what type of dye u used, but it sounds as if you used a bleaching kit of some sort. 45 minutes is a long time to leave on a color, which is why ur roots are already very light. Since that happened, i assume you do not have very dark hair, so I doubt it would turn orange. be as gentle as you can on your hair for a while, be easy with the hot irons, curlers, and blowdrying..yes, this could cause your hair to break off. In my opinion your best bet is dishing out the cash to get corrective color...a stylist should know whats best.

Your hair is just dry, use lots of conditioner and leave in conditioner which is the kids tangle stuff.... and don't dye it for some time now... If it seems to be getting worse get to a hair salon most are open today they can help you

You overdid the chemicals or had a skin reaction. I hope you washed it out thoroughly with cool water. Everybody loses hair all the time. I suppose it's possible you may later experience more than normal hair loss, but from what I have seen it's not very likely to be a big deal.

Next time do a skin patch test just like it says in the hair coloring instructions.

I had an experience with this.

In my cosmotology class, i had wanted to lighten my hair a litte(aka just kill class time). so once it was left in for about 20 minutes we washed it out and it barbie blonde. when they had put some product(don't recall the name) my head started to sting and have a burning itch. they rinsed it out and my hair had gone even brighter then barbie!

It depends if you used out of the box or another kind of product, and what your nautural colour was before you coloured it. if it was a medium brown to dark blonde(like mine), they your hair should be fine. it will only feel like your hair is falling out because the peroxide just strips your hair making it thinner. if it was darker than they then your in a better spot. your hair should not turn orange, if anything it will be more prone to turning green in pools. the recomendation i say is just be careful with your hair it is really delicate and having it exposed to excessive amounts of heat,being in chlorine pools and even just being rough with your hair can break your hair. don't colour your hair for about a month. It was a one time thing and your hair should recover from it. although next time, go to a salon or get someone who knows what they are doing.

Your hair won't fall out. At the very worse, it will break off. This sounds scary, but its not as bad as the hair falling out.

What you need to do is use a deep conditioner and only use a wide-toothed comb to get tangles out. Don't use a blow-drier or brush. The deep conditioner should minimize breakage and strong new hair will grow in. If your hair is really dry and broken, I'd recommend you having it trimmed.

But don't worry. You hair will not *fall out*.
