Japanese hair straightening??

my best friend half black and half white. She have VERY curly hair so she strighten it at the salon alot...

I was wondering would japanese hair straightening help her hair?? Would it damage it?

She would like to have her hair long and soft. is that possible?

YES! i heard that thing works for ANYBODY! i've seen it on a cambodian friend of mine, and her hair is still really pretty, and it's been 2 months or so..

but i think she would have to buy their shampoo, cond, etc products too, so that it won't dry out. i say that because i think with black in her, her hair tends to dry out faster? i'm not sure, but if it does, that's what she should do... and use lots of leave-in =)

i heard it works really good, but it's also expensive. As long as she doesnt dye it while she has the straightener in, it should not damage it.

it sounds like the most damaging thing ever but it's like the best thing ever. Only if you want like drop dead straight hair! It gets your hair really shiny and straight.
