Why do most mixed people have curly hair? How come mine is only curly when wet?

Me and my sister have straight-ish, wavy-ish, poofy-ish hair. It seems like most mixed (black white) people have curly hair. Mine is only curly when its wet. When its dry its poof! How can I help my hair?

put curling serum in your hair and twist your wet har around your finger then dry with a diffuser. (That is, if you want really curly hair)

well in a store i went to there was this hair dryer that is specificly for straight hair so look in stores for it! hope this helps!

use moose on ur hair.to calm down the frizz. and u dont need much hairspray but a little is nice

You might want to try diffusing your hair instead of blow-drying it when its wet. If you have a chemical relaxer on your hair than that could be the reason why it puffs up when it dries. You could try using curl formers (sally's) or doing a doobie style wrap on your hair to help tame your hair and eliminate the puff of your hair.

Try only detangling and combing your hair while the conditioner is still in your hair. Deep conditioning once a week can also work wonders for your hair.
