instead of using a relaxer (which is made for ethnic hair) buy a perm kit. wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo (you can purchase at sallys) do not condition your hair. with your hair still wet, comb it straight, then mix the perm solution as directed and apply it throughout your hair and comb it through. i would use the entire bottle of the solution just in case. then leave it on as directed some perms require further steps, such as a neutralizer, and some dont, be sure to follow directions. then after everything is said and done and rinsed. blow dry your hair with a flat paddle brush and flat iron to style.
