Dying hair with hair extensions?

heyhey

My friends hair dye has faded, and wants to redye it

however

She has hair extensions which are white and put in with microrings

Any ideas what we could do without taking them out and re-applying [efffooorttt]?

Covering the white bits with foil prehaps?

Wouldn't it all run into it when we washed it out

We need help!!!! bad!! haha

Oooo danger! definately cover the colour you dont want dyed with foil. Is it a head of extentions? And what colour does she want to re-dye it? When you rinse it leave the foils in (till you can rinse most of the dye out) and do it in COLD water. This is key!

I dyed my hair red and white and black and i washed it in warm and the red bled onto the blonde leaving me with pink hair! haha so watch yourself!

Well she can re-touch the root and the colour of the extensions will be the same.

But i think she has to remove the extensions because it also depends on how the extension was fixed to her hair. like glue or plaited in so it really depends.
